In 2008, a young visionary entrepreneur, Kenny Jr. McNab, established the Bay Island Petroleum company for the marketing of hydrocarbon products, specifically gasoline and diesel fuel. It began operating in may 2010 with truck sales and with a pump in Monte Placentero port for wholesale sales.
