History

In 2008, a young visionary entrepreneur, Kenny Jr. McNab, established the Bay Island Petroleum company for the marketing of hydrocarbon products, specifically gasoline and diesel fuels. It began operating in May 2010 with sales in trucks and with a pump in the Monte Placentero port for wholesale sales.

At the beginning of 2011, the sale of regular gasoline and diesel opens to customers with vehicles and motorcycles with a pump installed on the track that is now called BIP 1, always in Monte Placentero.

In 2017, it began operating on the island of Guanaja under the name Wilmont Bay, offering Regular and Diesel gasoline, as well as gas and LPG, and at the end of 2018, the Jones Ville branch began operating in Roatán.

And the vision of growth has not been left behind and is advancing by leaps and bounds; In April 2019, BIP Dixon Cove was born with the alliance of Bay Island Petroleum with the Circle K franchise, and you can currently find Circle K as Convenience Stores in each of the BIP Service Stations.

In 2020, the third station was opened in the Sandy Bay area and finally in April of this year, 2022, the fourth Service Station will be opened in French Cay.
